![]() Generic USB Audio Deice is supposed to be the driver used for the DM6 (as well as most plug and play USB instruments I imagine). The problem is that USB Composite Device should not be loaded at all for the DM6. There's nothing wrong with the USB Composite Device driver that gets loaded on our laptops for the DM6. I didn't want to mess around too much the devices class options because I didn't want to cause any unforseen trickle down effects. I did spend some time in the registry, but didn't make big changes. ![]() I realized that even though I'm pretty smart with this stuff and can figure out almost every issue I run into, this problem requires someone way smarter than me.Įdit: I didn't address your question about registry editing. And to expand on this, I tried forcing the driver override while in Safe Mode with Driver Signing disabled. Even though I was trying to make it use a driver that literally comes stock in Windows. ![]() Some shit about the driver not being signed. I tried to force my AMD laptop to load that driver instead, but Windows wouldn't let me. The same driver that gets loaded when you plug the DM6 into an Intel machine. The modern e-drum loaded the appropriate generic USB Audio Device driver.
